Although a plate like that would suit many

My Dream Plate was V1 NEY which is my surename. That went for £10,500 Plus tax so about £13,500
I had £4,500 in my hand and did not get a chance to bid as it went up so fast. So spent the money on a nice car instead

Not unless he has a Silver Merc 1.8 base model!
Thats what it is on.
I only found that out by using DVLA search and starting with the common makes of car until it popped up

No need to search through DVLA waiting for the make for a particular registration to appear. There are probably many other methods of finding out, I use
