I collected the TC from the lock-up because it needs a new exhaust. So I drove those 50 kms with an exhaust pipe that ended just in front of the back axle. It was noisy, but that noise was great! The power and sheer grunt of this car also amazes me. Can't believe it's almost 40 years old!
Anyway, the exhaust that now has broken in the bend over the back axle has one silencer, behind the back axle. As I've undertood it, the TC should have only one silencer and it should be right at the back. However, on the NOS TC exhaust I found in Sweden, there's a silencer right in front of the back axle. Now, I guess if I fit BOTH silencers there will be no more nice noise. Could the new exhaust be from a later model?
