Just a few nice shots of my old girl up on Ventnor Downs, taken in the summer, for those of you who may not have seen her, bearing in mind she only comes out in the sunshine 8) , now that Autumn is upon us i thought it might bring back some warmer memories for you

Thanks` Larry, as far as we can tell there are probably a dozen left out of a possible 35 (they made one a month for three years), i can put cars and numbers to at least ten...not a bad survival rate considering how badly they could rust

Very very nice motor indeed. Your attention to detail Frank is meticulous indeed. These are the standards I wish to achieve by doing the resto myself

Thanks guys, i`ve had this old girl for a long time now, and i`m afraid you wouldn`t be the first American to try and prize her away from me Chris, i was offered a lot of money for her a few years ago at the Classics and restoration show, at Alexandra Palace, but i couldn`t bring myself to let her go, i could never replace her  :)

Believe it or not i have owned this car longer than any car i have ever owned, Convertible wise i have owned three all together including the Crayford prototype, which was Harvest Gold, but i was looking for a really good one, and preferably in Damask Red, so i let all the others go and kept this one, the seats were all worn so i had them retrimmed in leather to match, which really does make the interior look like quality motors should look like, she`ll do for me anyway, thanks for your kind comments lads....Frank. 8)

Not without a good donor car Ben, you have to have a proper Mumford as a donor car for all the right parts...hood, frame , side windows, roll bar etc, i was lucky i found a good one to strip out for bits...but find a suitable Mumford basket case, and a good Coupe shell and i`ll have another go for you mate

If I could find one mate I would! I have been looking for the past 3 years but everytime I find one its either money or storage that gets in the way!
