Does anyone remember this project from the 90's?
I doubt that any still exsist but it is interesting to think that our cars were built in China!

the marina in 1970s was being built in Malta too. some of them where manufactured with the BMC 1500cc diesel engine.

Talk to Andy Morris, he allegedly had one of the UK prototypes for a while, maybe still does. Not sure whether any were actually made in production, though I did hear rumours the vans were produced with aircon....

Ohh look, here it is!
The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....

you would think if they were going to use that car for a publicity shoot that they would at least put the front bumper on straight.

It was actually bought back off a Longbridge employee and modified...look in some Understeer back issues, the full gen on it is in there.

Thread revival. Bit more virus induced Internet and forum trawling. Did any of these Huandu CAC6430 make it to the UK? From the aronline article 2.0 and LT 77 gearbox would have made it a car that would keep up with modern traffic traffic. Assume the floor pan was modified for the gearbox.
