Hi Adz

It was £220 plus VAT (£44) inc. lifetime guarantee, made up from parts and tubing and fitted by a local company in Bedford. System runs from bottom of manifold in twin downpipes, merges and then follows the normal Marina shape to the tailpipe. The have put an extra steady bracket on, close to the gearbox mount.

I don't use the car everyday, so I left it with them one Saturday and picked it up the next Saturday.

Paul,

It's an MP4/MPEG file. When I click on it it opens in it's own window.

Took it up to 5K revs this time

MOVIE2

Yes Carle its a B series.

Gas flowed & high compression head - with standard diameter valves and three angle cut valve seats, Piper 270 cam, twin 1.5" SUs with AAA needles, foam freeflow air filter, radiused inlet stub stacks, duplex timing chain, dual valve springs, tuftrided rocker shaft.

Standard block with 75K miles.

and I love it. Well at least until the next engine transplant.

Give them a call Frank - Premier Tyres & Exhausts Ltd. - Tel: 01234 272633 or 272549. They do a lot of classic cars, they had an early 1950s Standard Vanguard in for an SS exhaust at the same time as mine.

The owner has got a self built Seven type sports car, he's taken it from a track day car and put it onto the road and put it through the SVA test. He's also got a Lancia Delta Integrale. They were also prepping a Discovery off roader whilst I was there.

The owner was saying that he had more interest in the Marina from customers than any other car he has ever had in.
