Spot lights for my TC

Post by Fille » Fri Dec 09, 2011 10:09 am

What kind of spot lights would you recommend for my TC? Lucas square eights are nice but they are quite expensive and I don't like the idea of one fog and one spot lamp. And they are virtually impossible to get hold of over here. What other models of spot lights were used at the time, preferrably Hella, Cibie or MArchal? Or something else?

Mk2 HL's and Mk3's had Cibie driving lights fitted as standard.

I think Billytits on here had some made up to the BL/Unipart pattern out of stainless steel. Might be worth a PM to see if he has any left or will be making any more.

No, that was me!

And the metal place hated doing them and they were done as a one off - Sorry!
I do have some info on the dimensions and may even have a pair of normal steel ones for sale.

These were from an original bracket.
The ones I had made were from a thinner stainless steel, just as strong.
The fabrication company hated doing them as the bends were not nice to do and in stainless made it worse.

Trev,
I have got all the cad files for my stainless brackets but I would need your email to send them.
