The top photo is an Australian TC on the optional factory alloys. I don't know why the factory painted the lower body in black, but every Mk1 Aussie Coupe I've seen was done that way. :?

Cool Coupe Paul, would complement the Jubilee rather well methinks. Lovely alloys, shame they weren't an option over here.

Good grief, its almost exactly the same as mine, bar the wheels, and the fact its put together

I'll buy every 3 legged donkey on the lot, and try and save em all.

Interestingly, my Mk1 Aussie Super Coupe doesn't have the lower body in black. But both my Aussie TC Coupes have been? :?

in Australia the Morris Marinas (MK 1) didn't have the black out on the sills except for the T.C model
there was on these cars also a pin stripe just above this black out.
on the Leyland Marinas (Australian modified Marinas) they had an ordinary type black out on the sills on all models and
also around the window frames (i'm not sure on the early MK 1)
