Marina in scrapyard - much too good to dismantle

Post by laverdaton » Sat Mar 03, 2012 1:01 pm

Hi all,
I'm not a really a Marina enthusisat but I do own and like classic cars.

I've just visited my local scrappie: Twigworth car breakers (Gloucester) and noticed a Marina estate that has just/recently arrived. I had a quick look at it - and it appears to be a very very good car.

Bodywork appears ok and interior is all good. It is an estate and is definately worth saving.

I couldn't look under the bonnet and it hasn't been released into the main breakers area - where we all go with our tool boxes and saturday mornings!!!

Reg number: HRT 771V

I have no involvement with this scrapyard whatsoever - just a classic car fan.
The breaker has a website. Try typing Twigworth brakers in Google
I really hope this helps someone........and the car

Hi Andy,
Twigworth Breakers have advertised the car on eBay for the last week or so, so someone has the chance to save it!

See here

Just wish I could afford to insure two otherwise I'd have it straight away 8)

Oh! I didn't realise that.............I saw it and thought it was destined to be dismantled.
At least it will go to someone who wants it.
