Re: TR7 ALLOYS
Hi im using dolomite 1850/sprint steel nuts 3/8 stud thread with a fixed washer.
front hubs have had original studs removed a swapped for some others that are threaded all the way down so that the nuts can wind all the way down to help locate the wheels.
original studs have a recess/shank part at the bottom for locating steel wheels
rear studs arent a problem has rear drums cover the recess/shank part.
no problem screaminglordstokes will dig it out of garage for a full picture for you mate
picture of wheel nuts im using!!

Re: TR7 ALLOYS (more pictures!!)
Hi mate
Running 175x70x13 on the front
and 185x70x13 on the back
thats the widest i could go on the front without using spacers and not keen on using spacers
I think your dasmak 1.8 would look nice with a set
Ital is a cinibar orange/red SLX started life as a 1.7 but was converted to a 2.0 auto several years ago by myself but still retains its original 1.7 axle/diff so accelerates quicker that if it had a 2.0 diff.
i'll put some pictures on again soon.
Best regards

The 185s on the back look nice Barry, fill the arches out nicely don't they, like on Budgies saloon. I'd certainly like a set of those wheels for the coupe, when I get eventually it back on the road
Do you plan to attend any rallies this year with this car? I imagine its relaxing cruising on the motorways with the 2.0 litre engine.
Must nip over to lincs and have a butchers at it close up soon, looking forward to more pics in the meantime.
Cheers Barry.
