new torsion bars

Post by dazza2623 » Thu Apr 19, 2012 4:08 am

I have located some 27mm spring steel to make new torsion bars.
It will be cheaper on a bulk buy.
Who is interested.
Raw material is $20.00 per metre.
Keep you posted on machining costs

If you are going to make them to 10cwt Commercial spec (thicker), I could be interested. It would depend on the cost.

Hi Guys,
Machining costs for splining will be @ $160.00 per spline.
This will be reduced if we have more volume.
If I send them front setup this will reduce cost also.
We will be doing 1 set for Bathurst race car & one for me
