East Anglia is the driest part of the country, so if anywhere is going to be fine in July it's here.
Chris are you sure? I think most places had loads of rain on Sunday, Place just down the road from me was being pumped out yesterday!
Also after I got back to the B&B (just 50 yards from the show) on Sunday I bailed out half a bucket of water out of my boot :rolls: - Well I started then took the grommet out out the floor and watched it poor out.

Plus got home to find it had also filled up my plastic box with all my tools in so that took a while to dry.
Car now in dry garage with boot open so should be fine.
Must get the windsceens popped out and new seals fitted

Car went back happily at 60 to 70 all the way, got some interested folk asking questions at the services saying how nice the car was and my answer is - it is much better when it is clean

Great weekend and show despite Sundays weather and hats off to all who came and there were plenty of great cars there

Paul it was perfectly dry on Saturday - I don't know what the problem is - mine was a dry as a bone - no leaks at all on Sunday. Steady 80mph and up to 90mph along the A14 either side of Cambridge - surprised a load of drivers that did. By the way I think your new security device is a little over the top.

Oh dear this can only mean you have started looking through the photos... how bad are they?

It was sunny yesterday evening and today, someone obviously brought the bad weather with them

Well Josh

There are 628 shots from the Road Run, 57 from the Show and 157 from the Prize Giving - so it'll take a little time yet.

Must have been Mrs Martec's Guiness Cake.

Not me! Weather sunny when I left and sunny when I returned - may be a northern thing
I think the security measures in that picture are perfect :-D
Maybe that is where the water came in as I would need the sun roof fully open to get the rockets out 8-)

I must admit I knew both screens leaked but was amazed at how much came in during one rainy day. Glad I had not gone far with it in the boot as it may have gone further.
A few cardboard boxes were mush so had to be thrown.

Yes thank you Eamonn for the email, and replied to.

Now then Paul, It would seem you rightly won best MkI as your originality went as far as all seals leaking, very good attention to detail.

Nice to see old friends (old being the operative word?????) and nice to hear Josh has a sound car to start with this time.

Brian

PS Lesley will be please you enjoyed the cake.

Your right about the leaks Brian :rolls:
I have been cleaning my good second hand windscreen rubber today and dug the new rear one out of the loft. Both look in good shape and take the wide stainless trim so I am hopefully sorting it out as soon as I get my Mum to lend me her garage AGAIN
Need the space to work inside as to risky to pop them out on the drive and end up with it raining

Hi all, my apologies for leaving so soon after the prizegiving on Sunday but the Grandson was starting to play up and get irritable so best to get him moving. I would also like to thank whoever it was that managed to push me up the hill when I couldn't get any grip. I hadn't realised that I had been pushed until the wife told me about a mile down the road. Now photos. Nice to see that the Devon / Cornwall branch brought a puzzle with them.
Image

As you can see, they couldn't do it so enrolled the help of Dave. Get a simpler puzzle next time lads
