I just bought a brand new set of springs (god knows what their off though, could be saloon or estate, I've got a set of mk3 Saloon ones too.
Apparently the Estate ones are a bit heavier.
I've been having a chat to the guy who restored Jim Richards Heatway rally one, he's keen to upgrade the old lady a bit, and me too actually to ST spec, so thats the way forward I guess.
The only thing I'm thinking about is the fact its such an original car, will I ruin it?
The shocks are definitely the first port of call, I'm guessing their shot, and I'm blaming the towbar
I think I might go with the New springs and shocks first and maybe some anti roll bars, then superflex it.
it will be a bit of fun to see if I can get my Mk1 to handle
