Us rivet counters
can tell by the wheels - the Aussies (including TCs) have black-on-steel hubcaps, very different to the English hubcaps and TC wheels.

Re: More and more TC's around
yes the Australian T.C's did come with the black on steel but the also had as an extra the Rostyle mags ( i have a set of these to put on mine..eventually)Us rivet counterscan tell by the wheels - the Aussies (including TCs) have black-on-steel hubcaps, very different to the English hubcaps and TC wheels.

usually Yellow Devil is the Morris colour and Bold As Brass is the Leyland colour but if it is a mid year '73 it could be a cross over to the Leyland before the 6cyl came in.Spot on guessing my friend, how can you tell?

hubcaps..... the Morris ones had a grey metalised finish in the middle and the Leyland ones had the black middle
locost_bryan in the photo on your last post is that an Arianca Tan Aussie T.C.?

Re: More and more TC's around
Good question. Ben may be able to find out from Gordon. Is the paint code on any of the chassis or ID plates?bigcarle wrote: in the photo on your last post is that an Arianca Tan Aussie T.C.?
PAINT ID ARIANCA TAN HK5167 (13785)
It's an Aussie TC, but I don't know whether it was painted and assembled in Aussie or NZ. If the latter, I don't know whether they used Aussie or UK colours in the NZ factory.

Hi!
Have a look around the forums for a while now and it´s time that I show me. I bought the Marina from the Vastmanland Blocket last year in May 11. Has for about 30 years ago owned a exactly the same and that I unfortunately trashed. Undid me and always wanted to have one again. Then found this on ad and bought it at a good price. Been shut down since november 2007. Have fixed with miscellaneous rust, replacing the slave cylinder for the clutch ... Inspected in September 27, 2011 with a little note. Drove the car in the fall without a problem, has now in the days started to run it again, which is really fun. Make own thread later with pictures wen i fix the car. Below some pictures when I look at the car.

Thank´s for watching!
