Hi Craig, Thanks for getting back to me today regarding the above, just wanted to confirm the screen rubber they sent you as I'm sure someone said mk3 Ford Escort front but when I contacted Kent trims they said you had used a mk2? so just a bit confused that's why I wanted to check with you!

I'll forward my e mail address to you if you would kindly send pics and if anyone else can confirm which one has been used before please, One of my coupes is getting near completion so will need it soon,

Got pics of the coupe but not sure how to post pics if anyone can advise please, Thanks

Andy

If a link was changed to "ebay linky" then that was probably Sam, because she's sad..

Just use the MK3 escort front rubber, cut in half and spliced together. . Any competent Windscreen tech should be able to help. :)

Does the SDL/TC windscreen trim fit in the MK3 Escort rubber then?

Hi Josh
I believe that as long as it has the filler strip groove you can make the original stainless trim fit, but its a struggle with the original to get it in let alone the wrong rubber!

beniboyz I've a competent screen fitter to do the job just trying to get best info before we start! do you meen cut rubber in half? ie top and bottom and splice together? or just cut the top and shut? I guess the only way is to get one and try but there was a bit of confusion whether it was mk1 or mk2 Escort?

Cheers for now Andy
