Great day to be out working on the car, good weather just about everywhere, so where was I, in the bl**dy NEC! Don't get me wrong Crufts is a big experience but I'd rather have been working on the Pickup.

I made some more headway on the V8. N/S turret now trimmed up and inner arch primed ready for welding.

Nice one Gary. Do they time you or is it just the challenge of getting to the top?

No they don't time as it makes it complicated for licensing etc. but apparently was the quickest today at Austin Morris day

Repaired both bottom front door bottoms on green 2.0 ital, hacked the bubbly paint off to reveal lots of rust and holes, ground rust out filled rub down and prime a painted, most of it under the swage line so been able to blend it in.

Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Spent the last few days re-arranging the garage to make room for Ozzy. While it's a standard 6mx6m "Versatile"-type tin double garage it only has a single tilt-a-door, and a previous owner added a partition wall to make half of it a "rumpus room". Now that I've got the junk repositioned into a narrower space on the outside wall, I can set about removing the dividing wall. The "junk" will gradually make it's way onto TradeMe (NZ's eBay).
Time to get Ozyy "home" for the winter...

The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....

Did you sell more cos it's a TC.
Re: What did you do to your Marina today?
Had a productive day on the coupe today along with a mini East Anglian branch meet up. Ian Spooner's Ital went for MOT and a new exhaust clamp was fitted to his DL saloon
