If you are fuel injecting the correct spec is R9.

Fitted the cotton braided that you recommended Chris, fitted nicely through the original grommets in the chassis leg, was relatively painless to fit- cheers

Had a bit of a result over the weekend. Saw a guy selling a sill panel. (Didn't really want one but I could section to repair the bad bits of mine).
Bought the sill for a tenner, and when I went to collect he'd found a new passenger wing some new boxed suspension parts and a brand new handbrake.
£75 for the lot which I thought was a good deal.
must say I've collected a few bits for the HL now. Must be time to do some work. !!
Just need to sort the rear axle seals (seen the help guide on the site). Rear brake shoes and a drivers wing.

Did you have old ones reconditioned, or have you bought new?

I bought a good spare set and sent them to burlen for four months. Came back fully restored. They changed every part really and new bushed spindles etc.
I will be selling my old original carbs on eBay. They are good working order just has some wear in the front carb spindle so could do with reconditioning[image][/image]

Went to Ben (Charlie Safari)'s lockup and collected a truck load of bits, including the original twin carb engine for Ozzy, and a factory workshop manual.
Ben is clearing out his stash of Marina parts, so if anyone in Auckland needs window glass or Mk 3 panels, Ben still has some of these.
He also has a fuel tank - were they all the same or different for each variant?
