What's the difference in cost David? You could be penny wise and pound poor with the wrong decision.

Yes thats my feeling as the other shaft continues to drive so no sudden grip from light shaft hence no wind up of shaft as that is what causes most halfshaft breakage

Makes sense. Was planning on adding an lsd anyway.

For the same money as the rakeway I could have the uprated shafts and the lsd.

If it was me thats the way I would go shafts failing at wheel bearing end is unusual. May be Caterham issue when autotesting due to excess side loading.

Uprated shafts + LSD sounds like an excellent plan to me :mr green:

Anyone want todo factory tour of Quaife engineering? They make and fit LSD s and think they still list a marina in there catalogue for lsd

They do Lee- pretty sure that is Mr Balme's intended source ;) Aimed at the Caterham crowd really I guess.
