Opening quarter windows
I am restoring a van and it has the opening quarter windows as seen in the NZ 1700 Mk3. The seals are looking a bit knackered and I have been looking for replacements for some time. Would anyone have any ideas?

Re: Opening quarter windows
Does it have triangular Mk1 quarterlights, or the Mk3 quarterlight with the "notched" corner for the factory mirror? The Mk1's are really hard to find, but Kilroy might be able to help with Mk3's.

It has the notched mk3 ones, was looking at trying to make some up with various rubber profiles if I had no luck. I have emailed various companies in the U.K. and have come up empty handed.

Send a PM to Kilroy - he's the Mk3 specialist. Pop a request on the "wanted" classifieds section of the forum might be a good idea too.

Hamish, did you get your Mk3 quarterlight window rubbers sorted? Found a couple in my boxes of parts, if you're still looking.hamish575 wrote:It has the notched mk3 ones, was looking at trying to make some up with various rubber profiles if I had no luck. Hi Bryan, I have got fixed quarters in there at this point and have been given a driver's side from Kilroy. Sounds like he's going to make the doors for his van into ital spec, so I can get the other whenever that comes around.
Are they in reasonable condition though? I could be keen seeming it is almost summer driving time!

Looked ok as far as I can remember, but I'll dig them out and have a closer look.hamish575 wrote:Hi Bryan, I have got fixed quarters in there at this point and have been given a driver's side from Kilroy.
