Rally Marina shortly unveiled

A nice chap came to see me this evening and bought some ebay stuff from me.
He's been slowly doing his project over the last few years and its virtually done now.
I've seen the pics and video footage of this Rally Marina.

So its a Mk1 coupe in Harvest
15'' wheels + Custom Roll cage
Struts all round custom designed
Honda S2000 engine and 6 speed box pushing + 250 bhp New transmission tunnel .
(Baby) Atlas back axle
Metro 6R4 brakes
Oh . . and one of my MK3 van grilles !
The car has at every stage been scrutinised from the planning stage upwards by an RAC rally scrutineer
And is going on its first rally shortly up in Scotland. . .MULL allegedly
Then its doing the RAC Rally, Starting at Deeside near me. I imagine in an historic class.

The owner, Mike, is a club member but not on here. So I've directed him to this site.
He seemed very interested to look at the ST documentation on here.

Would love to be taking that out for a spin! 15" rims look great filling out the arches like that, think I'd want my front and rears to match though!

Just been looking on Wales Rally GB (National Rally Site I see the Marina belonging to Mike Storrar is still running listed as 45th O/A and entered as Leyland ADO 28
Listed below are his total stage times showing he has dropped 34 mins 53.5 secs over rally leader

I think that is a very credible result for any car straight out of the box and has put a lot of MK2 Escorts to shame his original Seeding was 247
