Looks like a BT or BR ital originally. Seat in rear was probably aftermarket specifically for the BR crew.

Several small car derived vans could be specified with occasional rear seats not sure if factory dealer fit or aftermarket conversion though Austin used to offer them in A35 van we had many years ago though and dad put side windows in it.

He's got grumpy with someone stating it has Ital inner wings and expansion bottle. It's a ringer as there are several details there that don't add up. It's a good one, but still isn't 'right' (which is a bloody shame as I'd have it if it was a proper Ital ex-BR van).
In fact I'd go as far to say it was an Ital 440 van and has been rebuilt with doors, bonnet, dash and bumpers off a van of the right vintage and possibly a bunch of saloon bits as well..... Half that price tops!

The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....

I agree, maybe £1k with no MOT. The chassis number would possibly tell the real story.

Chassis plate would be off the original shell.
Still looks alright - just depends if you are after something original or not...

True Ben, but the body number will still tell a story.

Depends if they've swapped it over or just sent the details to DVLA. To be honest, if it was a proper job they'd have cut the inner wings and fitted old-style ones which if done properly would have made it impossible to tell the difference.
One big problem could surface if someone else who knows their onions had a good look at it; despite being rare, it could end up being fragged as being sold as something it may not be. Tricky one....
