i dont know what ours do to the gallon, the fuel guage on the 1.3 doesn't work so i just fill her up before any trip and carry a can in the boot, and fill the 1.8 when the guage reads 1/2 to 1/4 tank as not sure how accurate the guage is. i might check over the Nats weekend must remember to take a note of the mileages..

Right, I've got no Marina or any other form of transport at the moment (unless I cycle).

I have managed to convince my parents to give me a lift up on the Saturday but they won't be giving me a lift back so is there anybody who would be kind enough to offer me a lift back to my place (half hour drive from Flixton) in return for some petrol money?

Similarly they have offered me a lift up on the Sunday but not back, shouldn't be a problem as I expect Martin Wallis will be going right past mine, will have to give him a ring to confirm that.

have you got a tent? coz i could pick you up friday afternoon or poss sat morning, Heidi has got to work during the days but will be there overnight and give me a lift home saturday to collect a Marina, looks like it will only be the Blaze coupe unless i manage to get the clutch sorted on the Blue coupe before next weekend..
but if you have a tent, you're welcome to share our grub.. and a ride , on the road trip etc

Thanks for the offer Eamonn, that's really kind of you.

Sadly I haven't got a tent though  I'll still have some of your food though ;)

Shame I got no transport otherwise I could get up to yours and give you a hand with that clutch ::(: I should have taken the car off the road after the nationals :rolls:

i'll see if i can find our old tent up if you wanna lend, (if i can find it that is lol), should have a couple somewhere, i could collect you to help with the clutch depending when you can help and i get the parts, not sure if its the cylinder or the actual clutch yet.. might get the whole kit done and dusted then.. pity i've not sourced all the auto bits yet, might have been a easy job then :?(..

Just keep it without a clutch and pretend it's an auto ;)

Why not take it off the road until you've got all the bits? No point changing the clutch if you're going to be ditching it?

Lost it on the way home from Swanton Morley, No fluid in reservoir so probably just the clutch cylinder, any idea where the best place to get one is?
cheers
Eamonn

that would be a possibility but as I've not found all the parts yet, not really an option, don't know how long it'll take to source em all, and don't worry I'll have some Good used bits for you when i change eh ? ;)
