Thanks guys
The gearbox is a Spitfire 1500 Overdrive, with a Marina 1800 input shaft. Same casing and ratios as 1.8 Marina, bolts straight up to the Marina bellhousing and uses standard Marina clutch, has the same output flange as the Marina propshaft which just needed shortening a tad.
The gearbox mount is a one off and as you can see I had to raise the line of the gearbox tunnel.

Hi Chris, MGB door mirror bases are the same as Marina ones...i am always buying them for customers, you can get them from any of the MG specialists and even the Triumph range used them so you can get them from places like rimmer brothers

For all those in need - MGB and Dolomite & Spitfire all use same part number - CZA7164.

All,
It's gonner be Harvest Gold again! I trailered her down to Paul Mondey's on Saturday - so it's underway.
Appeal
Somehow I have lost the nearside headlamp panel that I bought a couple of years ago. Anyone got a spare? Paul's going to need it in about 10 days time. FOUND HEADLAMP PANEL!
Also - the handbrake lever gaiter has a split in it, anyone got a spare or a good use one?

standard.... 1, 2, 4, 5, 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, 17..(.some of these as an option)
there were also
Rheingold (metallic) don't know if it was offered in UK, but it was overseas with (autumn leaf (brown) interior
Personally i would have gone for the original colour even if it's quite "common"

Thanks Jan Ivar, yes Rheingold was an option but having recently looked into that particular colour for a customer it is not available in any of the makes of paint that i deal with, so i thought it not worth mentioning, the nearest match i could find was a Fiat colour from the 80`s, i can find that formula if anyone really wants to do a car in Rheingold metallic

I think a chap that came to the AGM last year had a Rheingold TC Coupe! It was a Mk1.5 like Jim's.
