Good money in scrap just now I believe it's up to £200 a tonne. I'm breaking a 12 tonne bus to try and raise some cash

Trev,got one of my clients in today this lad is just 18,he earned himself £800 for a mornings work,weighed in a load of old copper motors...
He door knocks and collect old car batteries also,you know the ones left at the back of the garage,a poor day on the scrap is £200,a day is 10ish to about 3.30,thats £36 an hour less diesel :roll:

we had to turf a cheeky sod out of one of our old pump houses at work the cheeky git even changed the padlock to one of his :? he said he was sleeping rough untill one of my workmates pointed out that not many dossers sleep rough with a full toolkit and a fluke meter it then become apparent that he was checking the old distribution boards for dead and stripping out the copper buzz bars the nerve of some people and to think he thought of it first i must be slowing down maybe we should have let him go and split the proceeds

SORTED! Got it today Matt. Spot on that - didn't realise it was the rear member too *gulp*... You have PM.
It's spot on tho. I've prepped it ready for the welding...
(I'm out-sourcing this now because I can't lend the welder I usually use... bugger.
Not to worry.
Anyone got an idea of what I should pay for sill end & jacking point ?
