and look at my screen wash pipes as I noticed on yours the pipes go from the bottom to the little thing below then into the body. Mine does not. I don't even know if the washers work. I may break out the extra strong bleach as well and give it a good scrubbing!
I think by the "little thing" you mean washer motor
The pipes on mine go the same places as when I got the car, plus I looked at lots of others to check I had it sort of right! Failing those just ask Gary and he will let you know if it is right or not
The pipe is cheap to buy off EBay or probably Halfords do it.
But Cif (Jif) kitchen cleaner is also good for bottles as well as Millten and re-shaped tooth brushes

Yes I do mean washer motor, brain stops working at about 5....
And I am sure yours is right and mine is wrong, which is probably why they don't work....

Sam,
You obviously didn't listen to your mum, "don't pick at scabs or they will never heal".
If you hadn't touched the vinyl roof, you wouldn't have had to wash it down afterward, buy white spirit, etc. etc.

LOL - same goes for old cars and computers, "if it works - DON'T fix it "

Re-Washer motor.
Check the flow is right! By this I mean the pipes are right way round. Mine has in and out marked on the pump.
Bottle end should go to IN and washer end goes to OUT!
Simple!

Chris, the roof was already badly torn as Adz had peeled a bit back to see what colour it was underneath when he had it. This had allowed water to got underneath and I would far rather spend a few quid on some white spirit and clean it up than let the water sit under the vinyl eating through the roof.
On a side note water seems to be getting in around the back screen as I noticed some had gathered on the parcel shelf so I think I need to get a new rubber for it. Always something with Marinas isn't there

Well the reason the carbs were hitting the body was the N/s engine mount was knackered
Big thanks to Matt's Marina Supplies for getting a nice new one to me which was fitted today and has raised the carbs up about 1/2 inch!
Few other small things need replacing, but she is drivable now! (once I get some petrol....)

Petrol in, engine running

Needs tuning though running waaaay too rich. Slightly worried how much oil she seems to be burning though  and one of my hose clips has broke so petrol is leaking out, but apart from that

Turn the engine off Sam, petrol and hot exhaust manifolds don't mix.
Hose clamps available from all good motor factors and Halfords.

Halfords? What is this strange place you talk of? Does it sell shoes and handbags?
*giggles and starts braiding her hair*

There are two types of Halfords in my experience. Those that want to sell you a bicycle, radio, discplayer, Nat Sav or reversing sensors and those with an old boy behind a counter of a 'parts department', who loves to find/source the unusual.
I am lucky that I have one of the latter type, I am now the MarinaMan and he knows me when I come in, and wants to help. The great advantage is that he works on Sunday mornings, usually when I have forgotten to order something.
