Hi Boys, ok , ok, i could have gone on and on like you but i thought it was just 7!!!, , but i bet you didn`t know about the seven wonders of the Isle of Wight?....
1, Cowes....you cannot milk.
2, Freshwater...you cannot drink.
3, Ryde....where you walk.
4, Newport...you cannot bottle.
5, Lake....you can drive through.
6, Needles...you cannot thread.
7, Sandown Bay...bl**dy lovely in the summer!! :lol:
Plus of course our amazing list of famous residents...but i`ll save those for later :wink:

8) never heard of number 7.
we have the royals up here every year just to keep their culture up a bit.and we have the best golf courses.just look at carnoustie this week.
one of the bombers ended up in glasgow royal infirmary and he was complaining about the food...potatoes.haggis and turnips. the nurse said what do you expect you are in the BURNS unit. :lol: :lol: :lol:

Julia Mararet Cameron was a very famous Victorian Photographer, her old house, Dimbola lodge is now open to the public in Freshwater, it was opened a few years ago by Charlton Heston...perhaps youv`e heard of him??, we don`t get many Royal visitors these days, we seem to get Rock royalty instead...Rolling Stones, David Bowie, etc, etc...also a wee Scots band went down quite well too, i think they were called Kasabian!! :wink: 8)

I had not forgotten him Jim, he just wasn`t quite in the same league as the others!!, and apart from him we have Dame Ellen McArthur, Shaw Taylor, Celia Imrie, Kenneth Baker, Alan Titchmarsh...and to top it all Rio Ferdinands Gran!! :lol: :lol: :wink:

And you forgot that the late "mr bronson" from grange hill, used to live in ryde !! aahh!! those blissfull days chasing him drunkenly down ryde high street for his autograph LOL :lol: :wink:
