Yeah use the IMG link from photobucket and not the URL one. =)

DORIS THE MORRIS

Post by Uncle Frank » Thu Jun 07, 2007 10:19 pm

I was so sad to see her looking like that again, after all the work i had done on her, the old boy i sold her to just kept knocking her about, and then grabbing an aerosol to cover up the damage!, still she`s in good hands now, Tony will take good care of her, ..a couple of new wings and a repaint in ICI 2K Midnight Blue and she`ll be as good as new

Doris has arrived safely at the workshop, we spent all day pulling off the trim, doors, bumpers, lights, boot, bonnet and most of the interior, the rear lights were a sight to behold!!, never have i seen such a complete and utter bodge up!, hopefully Jim will be able to post a piccie of these hideous lamps for all to see, the old boy had used glue, putty, filler, and stick on chrome trim round the edge of each lamp to patch them up! , to think only five years ago when i sold her to him she was absolutely pristine!, looking at her now it`s enough to make you weep  , still as my old saying goes...it only takes one idiot and an aerosol to ruin a perfectly good car!.
Anyway she is now underway and will soon be looking more like her old self again soon...we`ll keep you posted
