Yes it seems reasonably good. The seller emailed me a couple of more pics a week or so ago and it seems both front wings would need to be repaired. Also the drivers seat is torn but that's quite easily rectified. Hmmm, maybe I should get another Marina anyway...?

Bronze yellow -lovely colour!
It does look very original and would look good in my collection. Stockholm isnt too difficult for me, although my current financial situation makes it impossible for me to come up with much spare cash.........

Too bad it is some time until I can colect it, not until June 27th... But it will be thoroughly tested - the first journey will be about 400 km!

I am very happy to know that you have bought this car.
Knowing that you enjoy your Mk1 1.3 will make it very natural for you to welcome its big brother TC to your family
And whenever you take either Marina to a car event outside the UK ,you will have one of kind that plenty of people will tell you they remember their parents or grandparents had a coupe when they were small, and theres nothing better than having a cool car type that nobody else has but so many recognise!
Even in the 1990s when I drove my TC coupe around Denmark as a daily driver it attracted lots of looks and plenty of positive comments and was a definite help charming the girls to go out with me again and again

Actually, on ALL the events I have brought my Marina to so far (in Finland) there has been at least thrre different people commenting on what an absolutely crap car the Marinawas and blah blah blah. "I had one of those and it broke down all the time...". Still, it gathers interest and most people say it's a good thing one or two gets saved and not scrapped.

Ok, bought it in Stockholm yesterday, took the ferry over to Finland and 350 km later today, still no problem. The car runs nicely and I am actully amazed by the amount of power the TC has! Only an alarming pull to the left when using the brakes causes some concern... It will need new front wings ( are there any available?) and the electricl system needs tidying up. But first there's some serious driving to be done! Never thought driving a Marina could be both fun AND fast!
It could also use a new ignition lock. Does anyone know, are the original locks still available? It would be nice to change all locks at the same time then.
