Hi Larry, we have known about the garage pictured for years but the bloke that owns it is a bit funny and doesn`t like people nosing around his back yard!!, Jim and I both know him and will work on him about the Jreg, but rest assured Larry she`ll no be goin north o` the border amongst you Heathens!! :lol: :lol:

8)whats under the kilt has scared a few people over the years.heathen i will give you heathen....pagan maybe. anyway we are reverting to being pagan anyway cos not many go to church anyway and those who do go to church only want to be seen to be going....

I know it's not a Marina but that 1500cc L reg Allegro pops up on the DVLA website as being registered on the 3rd July 1973, with a date of liability of 1st July 2002. That is one early 1500 Allegro, while the Marina appears to be taxed untill 1st December this year, having been first registered on the 3rd May 1971.

I guess this means its a very early build car with a chassis number somewhere in the first 20,000 produced. Does anybody know how many H/ J plate marinas survive with a vin from the first 10,000 made? I guess it isnt many-less than 10???

8)at last, got a "j" reg today. bought it from mk1 shaun. i believe it used to belong to andy jones a few years back. the chassis number is 5055.....ado28 is posting some pictures............larry

8) yes paul it went "over the wall" no problem. really nice motor for its age. tax and mot till june 08. needs a couple of niggly things fixed which shouldnt be a problem.................1800 special for sale ????/

Will check Dave's Limeflower coupe also. I think that one is a low number too. Still got the origional engine in too!!
