Pics of the new pickup! Better than the old one! Thanks to d13ker67 for moving it for me! Gonna see if she starts this week! Needs some welding to the floor and rear of the inner sills. Also got to remove the screws that appear to be holding the new genuine sills on.... :roll:

Yeah she is a good 'Ute mate! Solid where it counts. Needs the clutch freeing off. It's got a Marina engine in and a metro cylinder head apparently.. How do you tell if it is a metro one? Gary?

Will update here when I've got her running later this week.. Hopefully!

metro heads are rounded of where the thermostat is
also if it a late metro head it will be a unleaded one and it will have metric threads for the thermostat and heater pipe

Thanks mart. Will have a look tomorrow night. The guy said it was unleaded. It's had a marina block fitted at some point tho.
