The previous owner was on this forum I thought?
ISTR it being a fake TC and actually a 1300 in fairly average condition.

It was a very solid 1800 SDL Josh.An absolute waste of a good car
I owned it very briefly and Graeme Scurrah had it a bit longer, making it into a TC lookalike

Brilliant, brief Marina entry in the original Sweeney episode 'Faces'. Saw it on ITV4 a few weeks ago.
Right at the start there is a heist -the robbers race off in an AustinMorris van, then switch to a Rover P6 and are chased over the classic waste ground by Regan and Carter in a Granada. The robbers hop over a wall while firing back at the plod. A blue Marina MK1 saloon (TC I think) comes hareing over the waste ground and screeches to a halt. Out hop two office-clerk-looking armed plain-clothes cops. Regan says 'You're too late Sheriff, they went thataway'. Cue title sequence.
It was an unusually exhilarating view of a Marina. Can't find it on Youtube.

There is a documentary with the life of Brian Clough, while being at Derby and Leeds you can see a few Marina's parked at the parking lot.

my fave movie marina moment still has to be Sid James buying an early coupe with his winnings on the horses in "carry on at your convenience" & turning up at work in it!

Rear number plate in the wrong place though, above the rear bumper. No tow bar!

Mine used to be like that, it made room for a tow bar.
