Not only - but also...

This was the trip home from collecting this car.

The car came to rest exactly as you see it - flat battery, no charging - small stream flowing under the car - steady rain.

House we stopped outside was the only house which had a light showing.

Occupant turned out to be a friend of Sue's.!

He had a battery charger..!!

Can't argue with stuff like that.

Photo was me repairing the fanbelt.

ideal its nice that some people are helpfull in situations like that and have useful things in the garage. :)

For anyone interested ( anyone??? )

My TC averaged just over 33mpg over the 915 miles driven these four days. Not bad considering it was fully laden. :D

And not taking into account the petrol Kev 'borrowed'! :roll:

yeah but you only had seats in it. not much weight your wife had the rest of the stuff! :lol:
