Nice to see that you're driving the Jubilee so much Paul, and that you've fitted the rear seatbelts for the little 'un (well behaved isn't he?). A lot of people would trailer a car around after a resto like that.

My 1973 Marina 1,3 with two-circuit braking system has the master cylinder that - according to the books - was used in the Maxi. Doesn't even look like the one that - again, according to the books - should have been in the Marina. Incidentally, my 1973 TC has what appears to be the correct twin-circuit brake master cylinder. I knmow for sure the master cylinder in the 1,3 has not been changed over the years.

Well as I said when I got the car I was going it to drive it. It's done about 2000 miles and it is getting better all the time.
If I were to leave it in a garage all dry, knowing my luck the roof would fall in on it and as I lost out 23 years ago driving one I am going to make up for it now.

Although I had an impressive bug collection on the front when I got there it was nothing compared to Brian's TC
Ithink he may have driven through a couple of bee hives etc to get that many flat insects stuck to the front:D

I got 3 other shows this month to go to and I expect I will be the only marina at 2 of them :|

Yes, I think there must have been a plague of locusts around on Sunday. Its the same up here as regards lack of Marinas at shows - loads of ridiculously over-restored MGBs with chrome plated engine bays etc. but I'd say the Marina gets more interest, people love talking about the ones they used to own and the adventures they had with them.

Capel car show this year is just a donation so it could be £0.50 or £10 or more if you fancy! Depends on how much you want to contribute to the new church roof
Were you at Peterborough? I did not see your Marina!

Love the look of those rally Marinas. 8)

Interesting to see the World Cup Triumph and Land Crab. :D What was at the far end of the lineup - another Land Crab, or a Maxi?

Was there a BL car ST didn't have a crack at?

The car "at the other end" is the "Beauty Box" landcrab. It was originally run with a team of 3 women, hence the chauvanistic title.

The only BMC car that I don't recall seeing rallied was the 1100/1300, although I'm probably wrong.

Hang-on wasn't there a rallycross 1300?
