Now got an Estate to go with Balmy's Coupe and the 4 door saloon.

The weather is forcast to be so bad this weekend the magazine has put off the photoshoot until the following weekend.

David, I have given the journalist (Andy Roberts) you telephone number for him to make contact direct.

I took a call from journalist Andrew Roberts, he's contacted the club he's looking for a Coupe, Saloon and Estate for a feature in Classics Monthly, celebrating the Marinas 40th Birthday next year. The photoshoot will be in the Newbury area on 30th October (it's a Saturday). They have already got a Suntor and a Van

We are looking to put up the best cars we can, so offers of cars to me asap by PM. They can be mark 1, 2, 3s or Itals. Need to be as standard to look at as possible.

Based on previous experience these things take several hours to do so expect it to be an all daylight hours shoot.

Thanks,

Well, unfortunately it's just started raining but most of the photo shoot has been done.

We have one yellow Ital van, Paul's Jubilee, a 1.3 auto saloon, a White suntor, Ital suntor and my coupe. A colourful and varied selection!!!

Hiya Paul-it was a good day and we had a laugh which is the main thing. And we got back to DEVON fine thanks :D -Esther drove some of the way-the first time driving the TC and I think she liked it...........eventually I'll convert her.

It would be nice if you elaborated on the owners being like there cars though! haha

We where asked not to post any photos but I think these few should be ok.

All lined up at the beggining of the day:

Well, I thought the chap with the yellow ital van suited it as it is a work type car and he had oily jeans on and his son was with him so it just looked like all three belonged together with his son helping him out for the day.
then there was a older lady with her automatic saloon which was all smart and reserved, and the colour match her coat. The guy in the Suntor was on his own and just looked the part with a cup of tea sitting in the back or may his partner had kicked him out to sleep in it for not mending something he or she had broken?.
As for the Blaze TC coupe well just young and sporty I think! I will let you decide if it fits you.

Then me, well a bit sporty but not in a big way and likes all the extras and gadgets and maybe a bit loud :D just like the car.
