That's good news
The bad news is Richard Young was on a steady jaunt up the A1 in his convertible when a loud bang from the engine was followed by smoke out the exhaust and a total loss of power :shock:.He hasn't opened it up yet but is pretty certain that the engine is terminally ill

Maybe I will ease off the accelerator a bit :?
Could be cam or crank or valves, well sounds like everything.
Hope it is an easy fix for him.

It's quite bizarre Paul,the same car never missed a beat driving hundreds of miles on the National weekend.As regards style of driving,its a bit of an in joke that Richard drives like he's bare footed and there's a drawing pin mounted upside down on the accelerator pedal

.Just one of those things I suppose :roll:

I would imagine if he had a BEAR foot a drawing pin would make little differnce and his driving style be all over the shop :P
