Fantastic effort there guys, stand looks brilliant! sorry i couldn`t make it this year but it looks like you all had a great weekend, there were some nice motors on the stand, who`s was the blue estate car?

Hi Frank,
The estate is the old Richard Clayton/Dave Richardson 1.7 Mk3 Estate - I drove it to the Nationals in Norfolk when my Coupe was off the road. Dave had done a lot of the mechanicals. Simon/Dawn/Tiny have done the body and had the upholstery retrimmed in the original fabric - lovely. Simon did the body, but the restoration pics show Dawn flatting panels etc. I think that's its now her daily driver - could be wrong.
For my personal opinion (whilst I loved the Coupe, Estate, Ital and don't want to play down the effort and effect of these restorations), the star for me was the Pickup, relatively low mileage, mostly original panels and paint, not perfect but definitely what you call original and maintained.

we had cake..mm was lovely and great show guyswell done to all involved, IMHO best stand there but i was slightly biased and got cake

hi all i'd just like to say i had a cracking 4 days at the NEC the show was fantastic,big up to Tiny & Si for all thier hard work to make our stand possible, great to see everyone again & new faces looking forward to next year bigger & better
