You should have taken the opportunity to learn a few phrases from the Devon / Cornwall branch last Sunday Brian
Gary.

I'll be there Chris, so save me a nice secluded spot at the back so that I can hide my car amongst the trees!

If I can get my lieu day for the Saturday I'll be there with Reynard. Would I be allowed to park on the club stand although I'm not a member?

You can always rejoin you know.
I'm sure that we'll find a 'guest' corner.

Fantastic that you've got the day off Sean,

but it'll be a lonely old journey all that way won't it mate!

Better get the ICE in quick to keep you awake!

Peterborough is just down the road from me Tony, well 338 miles (ish) lol. The ICE installation will commence this weekend. I will get some 6x9's for the rear and some 4" speakers for the front and an ICE machine lol. I may be travelling alone but the journey will be worth it and I'm sure Reynard won't complain. I will give him a service before the journey

I'll be going via a lift from either Martin Wallis (if he's not camping- depends on the weather!) or Eamonn.
Sadly I don't think Ducky will be on the road by then as none of my service parts have arrived yet (went to Unipart and they wanted £23 for a brake hose

) and I don't think I will be getting the weather to do much with her anyway

She will be at the Stonham Barns show if anyone else will be going there.

£23 for a brake hose!, you`re kidding!, i can do you all 3 for less than that Josh, how the hell they can justify that i do not know

Might have been because I was going by old-ish part numbers rather than the latest ones, one brake hose was quoted at £6.49, but another was £23. Got everything I need now from various shops on eBay anyway (and the 3 brake hoses from Earlpart for £18 I believe), most expensive were the front wheel cylinders, still cheaper than calipers though

Unipart is weird sometimes, i used to be a loyal customer at my local Unipart centre, but they always charged top prices, £4.50 for a GFE 443 oil filter when my local MG specialist, Steve Mckie (
http://www.stevemckiesportscars.co.uk/ ) can supply exactly the same Unipart fitler for half that price
Incidentally the above Unipart centre has closed now, and moved to an industrial estate at the other side of Sheffield.

Aye I know what you mean, some of their other quoted prices were reasonable but everything was still cheaper on the net via places like Accuspark for ignition bits, Earlpart and other places.
I still use them for things like oil, oil filters and belts though.
Any bits anyone wants off JWC let me know and I should be able to bring them to Peterborough (including your bits Tony, got the bracket off the manifold for you today, will strip the doors down sometime this weekend hopefully).
