Re: URGENT APB
Fantastic news!, Great to hear he`s safe, one thing has struck me about this thread and the Retro thread is how many great friends he has that he probably didn`t realise he had, especially Monza Phil, perhaps that will help him realise how much others do care for him, great stuff!

Re: URGENT APB
Thank God for that!
The classic car movement needs Jeremy Clarkson like Jenson Button needs a towhitch and a Sprite Musketeer....

Re: URGENT APB
Glad to hear he's ok.
I guess we are all around if he wants to talk about it, I would imagine theres not one of us on here that hasn't had a tough time at least once in their life
It's sometimes a bit hard to open up if your in that particular headspace, but if your reading this mate take this piece of advice, talk to your mates and hang on, because life can change in a heartbeat and there's always someting new around the corner.
All the best
Ben

Re: URGENT APB
Cheers for the concern guys. I have been suffering with depression. Let a few things boil over & it all got a bit too much.
I'm happy to say that i'm home & well. Had to move out of my flat this week after getting back, and my job may be
on the line..but i have my car back which has cheered me up no-end. I dont know if anyone can help, but i need a boot
lock for my mk1 coupe. The police rather butchered it trying to gain access & it's beyond repair. I may be able to remove
the barrel & linkage, but think its going to be easier to swap. Anyone got anything they could post me?. Would really
be appreciated & I can pay by paypal?.
Cheers,
Alex.

Alex
Excellent to hear from you!
One of the guys will have a boot lock, no worries about that (I did have, but it went with the bootlid....).
Just always remember, there is always someone in the Classic/retro community to reach out to if you need to mate. It's helped me in the past.

Re: URGENT APB
Thanks for all the comments guys. Fortunately the car sustained no further damage. I'd been worried to what might
happen to it, but apart from the boot survived without so much as a scratch. Overjoyed to have her back and
I owe my mate dave a massive thanks, as it was he who brought me home, then drove me all the way back to Kent
two days later to fetch the car. No small task as he lives no where near me!.
Cheers Dave!
