Could not resist posting my first reply as I have a Pilgrim Bulldog (1300) and two Pilgrim Hawthorns, both 1800's. The Bulldog was built from a terminal 4 door back in 1986, and very little effort was needed to get the running gear from it as most of the floor, wings etc just fell apart. I have rescued the two Hawthorns very recently, one which has never been put together, based on a 1971 car, and the other, 1975 based has been on the road but off for the last 5 years or so, and therefore both are from the ground up build/rebuild. The Bulldog has never been "stored" or taken off the road since being built, and now has an unleaded MG Metro cylinder head, Kent cam, and all the trimming to go with it.
I still consider and am proud of the fact the cars are really Marinas.
