Excellent! Glad you are saving it. If you need a hand down this way then give me a shout.

BTW, I don't think the garage collapsing onto it would have damaged it too much, it is a corrugated tin thing so no real weight to the structure.

Off to pick this up tomorrow. The guy's wife reckons it'll snap in half when we go to move it. It's sat in shed for at least 30 years, and the shed collapsed at least 20 years ago slowly leaking water over the car and the dirt floor underneath it. Hard to believe I do this for fun!

Yes, good luck! Can't wait to see some pics and hear about it's history
Can't be worse than mine!

It's a lot worse! Chassis number 343. I hesitate to say earliest survivor as so little has survived but next oldest is 1498. Full report will come tonight. Took 2 1/2 hours to dig out and load, now leaving for home!

My girlfriend showed me some pics of it through her Facebook and you know, it looks doable

I haven't seen underneath but from what I can see the front end looks worse because of the lack of panels. Those are the same panels I have to replace on mine so basically it has no front end just like your's. My front end just has rust in the shape of panels which gives the illusion of a structure. I wouldn't throw the towel in just yet from what I've seen! At least it's sitting level which is more than I can say for mine!

Just seen the pictures on Facebook and WOW what a find! Good luck getting back in one bit. Really looking forward to reading more on this one and will be interesting to see if you find many differences being a mega early car. Just hope there is enought of a car left to put it back together.
