Definitely not.

Erm, let us know if you decide you don't need it anymore... ;)

I thought they were a TC thing, not Jubilee specific, but I could be wrong.

Well I'm very pleased to have a TC gear knob on my Special, and I'm still going to count it as rare and desirable! I've been into Marinas for a long while but I've never actually laid eyes on a TC! Don't know of a single one here in Ireland, although would be happy to be corrected on that.

Keeping an eye out for that one alright, when I see it I'll pay special attention to what kind of a gear knob it's got...

Greased suspension and gave engine a service. Found hole in front chassis leg so that needs doing next weekend!

so far this year i have tried to replace the drivers side trunnion got it all apart only to find the new one i have got is to small and wont bolt up,
so i cleaned old grease out and added some new one and tried to secure the grease nipple hopefully it wont keep popping,
unfortunately looks as tho i will need to replaced the dampeners as they can be pushed up by hand and stay in place.

the fuel pump was next on my list had needed tackling over the summer could feel a slight stutter and top revs this was replaced without issue :) yay!!

engine mounts could do with replacing soon engine has a slight wriggle and the foot wells have been getting we some how so rubbers are needed looks like the ones at the tops of the doors is the only damaged/missing from that area

parts replaced so far :-
master and slave cylinder on clutch
gearbox
center prop mount
engine service
fuel pump

The trunnions are handed with threads running in opposite directions. Do you think you were trying to fit a left on the right or vice versa?

You should be able to manually open or close a telescopic shock absorber. There is no spring inside to push it back.

no these where way to small the thread for the on my van had a lot more girth
and didn't realize that and of the ones on other cars have had a fair bit of resistance
