I'm sure we all get like that from time to time. Good to know you are sticking around!

Took back of prop off and re-aligned the rear UL yoke so it is in line with the rest.
Strange as I rebuilt it exactly as it was because all the marks lined up but after some help from Chris Wilson he pointed out it was wrong last year.
this could be why I had a vibration at 50 MPH.
Did not bother me to much as I normal went higher
When it goes for its MOT on Friday I will see if it has improved.

I was owed a lieu day at work and as it was a reasonable day I decided to spend it on the Marina. Had a long slog as it needed quite an involved repair to the lower n/s 'a' post/front sill and lower wing however it's done and pretty chuffed with how it's turned out - i'll update my main thread in the projects section soon. That was the last of the MOT welding - it does need other bits but i'd like to do them when it's a rolling project.
All thats left to do is service/valet and the flipping clutch is still to free. I've tried all methods suggested so far from the forum including running for over an hour with clutch pressed and in gear. Jamming handbrake on during same procedure and tried on numerous occasions. I was advised to try and loosen the bell housing bolts and 'jiggle' it about? anyone tried this?
I did manage to pick up a complete clutch but dont want to fit if I dont need to. My MOT guy is not interested in helping which is a shame as i could arrange to have it collected/he frees clutch and MOT's at same time. Cant drive it around as it's deepest/central Leeds and it would be impossible to drive around without the boys in blue on my case.
Any help appreciated...

Undoing the bell housing won't help. The driven clutch plate is stuck to the flywheel and or the pressure plate.

I know its a bit mercenary but have you tried running up to 30 mph in gear on trolley jack with clutch depressed then getting some one to let jack down whilst still driving have managed like that before but very brutal

My favourite way is jacking the back end up, get it nice and warm, then start in third gear, get up to 50-60mph, then keeping your foot on the throttle slam the brakes on, dip the clutch and pull the handbrake. Hasn't let me down yet...

I've had to do this recently on the Mumford. Jacked it up onto axle stands, start up and let it warm through (about 20 mins)up to 20 mph on speedo in second then jump onto the brake, clutch and handbrake at he same time. It took about ten goes getting faster and faster. I got to the point where I thought shit or bust and kept increasing the speed until it went. I was doing this at work and ended up with quite a crowd so couldn't give up. A big cheer when it worked.
Keep trying.

Think it's all down to the clutch lining material. I guess they get damp and swell up. Some of mine never stick, others do after only a couple of weeks!

Not sure if the clutch fork grommet helps as I have one fitted so no hole to let wet in.
