That blue thing perchance a Fiat of some description.Nice find with the marina.

I may be wrong, usually am, but I believe that blue thing is possibly a gogomobil.

I tried Fiat reliant renault peugeot didnt try googomobile though.Even tried citreon.Dvla didnt recognise it.Either a big manufactor with a hardly known car or a manufactor like googomobile.Ok what is it??

For the life of me lads i honestly can`t remember what it was...but Jimbo probably can , 2465 Larry...that`s 4 older than we thought it was!, Brilliant! , had a call from a lad in Northampton today who has just rescued another `J` reg Saloonwith only 26,000 miles on the clock!, this one is an 1800 SDL and guess what colour it is?.....Flame red, surprise , surprise!, will find out more as soon as they join up to the club.

2465 Frank...You are getting confused again. Should confirm it on the V5.
How are things anyway..All quiet up here. Just a couple of fiddly bits to do to 5055. Will potter about with the Tally during the winter. Not a great lover of them mind you, but it will do for towing the caravan to shows next year.

Sorry Larry i thought i`d put 2465 on there (just altered it), but that is still 4 earlier than Jimbo thought (2469), so a bit of a result really , must admit looking back at the photo`s the number on the end does look a bit fuzzy, i will have to look at it again to be sure, still she`s all covered down in the barn now for the winter.
The old Ital will make a good towing car i`m sure, they certainly are much nicer to drive, even if they don`t look so good!

Great to know another J plater has turned up. Red was a very common colour back then,and always appealed to private buyers more than say white, a company colour - at a guess at least 1/4 of production was likely red,and this was before harvest gold came along for a big proportion of the 1973-75 production

I think I will look for an 1800 engine for the Tally as I am not a lover of the 1700. The 1800 is more reliable.

The blue thing is an Enfield 8000 electric car, there's an entry in Wikipedia and a group on Yahoo.

Well here's one for you. I was put in touch with a chap today with a Marina in fairly poor shape with a view to buying the seats out of it and any other parts that I may need for the Mumford. Surprise, surprise the car is a J Plate Coupe in Midnight Blue . Have only spoken to the chap on the phone but he says the car was purchased shortly after the launch. Unfortunately the lock has seized up on his garage door and his memory is not the best but he believes the registration number is FDF284J. No doubt someone can come up with a chassis number from somewhere I will try to get some photos of it at some point when he phones me to let me know that he has got in the garage.

Not really Ray. I have spoken to the guys mechanic and he confirms that it is definately a J reg and it is blue. I remember it from a few years ago and then I thought it was Black Tulip but the colour was faded even then. Dread to think what it is like now but hopefully will find out in the near future .

As Teal Blue fades it turns a sort of petroley bluey/black colour - easy mistake.
