Give that man a hand! But watch out for the flower on his jacket, it's hooked up to the Marina's washer pump!
Well done Matt. I hope to see it soon down on the Island over at Franks..

As we all know,it had to be done.I consider this vehicle to be part of the Club's history and as such deserves a second chance. My kids actually think it's "so cool" and Georgia has pretty much laid a claim on it.So what else can a doting father do.........when you're ready Frank..........

Cheers Jim,that would be very interesting.I must have seen this Coupe sometime ago when I had Cliff's convertible as I do recall wanting the interior.Well,I've got the interior now but said convertible is back in the hands of the rightful owner

.The only panel that might be a problem is the R/N/S quarter,I'm pretty sure I have the rest. How sad am I? I would rather have a TC Coupe than a Delorean

well done matty another historic moc car saved. Mind you i must admit i did think about buying it myself but you are in a better position to save it than i am.
I take it you have now sold your van to make space .
this now means i no longer own the only purple marina tc in the northeast.

Alas,I suspect that the TC will be broken for spares

.I was going to keep it for five years and treat it to a restoration using the
predicted lump sum from my retirement package. However, the lump sum is more likely to be a limp sum,if at all

.I dont have a garage to put the car in and the rust really has taken it's toll.If anyone wants to save it please get in touch but I have to say it is a major project!!

Well if i had spare cash and some storage space... Sj is or was an Ayrshire reggie. Well from memory before the local reorgaanisation of local marks, sj was a Bute number. Ayrshire lost AG and got sj in its place. I wonder if said car was origianlly registered in Glasgow, as Glasgow had a habit of pinching Ayrshire marks, or if said car started off live in Ayrshire? Be interesting to find oot. Not many Ayrshire plated cars left. Towards the end of the local area plates, Ayrshire based garages had to ask the Dvla for a sj sd cs number otherwise we got Glasgow letters for whatever reason and Glasgow got ours!
