Not a 1800 super MK1 but now he has an Ital 1300cc.
The banger chap has contacted me again to say he has an Ital.
All I know it is a 1300cc. I plan to pop and see it tomorrow and get some pictures.
He has mentioned it to me as most of the trim and etc apart from suspension will be taken off so if anyone needs spares then please let me know ASAP as I expect he will be ripping it all off pretty fast.
I will pass on contact details to anyone who wants spares for their cars as I do not have funds to buy parts for others and then get let down.
Plus I do not need any spares of the car for mine.
I may be happy to get a few small parts for some reliable persons but would prefer you to contact him direct.

He is always spending time with the car so not to hard to arrange.
The car is located in West Sussex, Littlehampton on the south coast.

there were some on here who benefited from the last car he raced so I know what some will say he should not be racing it but he found and bought the car so the original owner may or may not have known what was happening to it, but pictures will show all and I hope it is not a good one!
Pictures to follow tomorrow.

Regards,
Paul.

As promised some pictures below.

The guy said he is not stripping it for a month or so. Time for spares to be taken.
the doors look quite good and he said if anyone wanted to swap them for a worse door then they are welcome to come and do that.
The body is tatty but the engine started after 11 years stored! It is an A+ 1300cc
Most of the running gear he will not be using.
Back Axle and prop and front suspension are not up for grabs yet.
I have put dibs on the anti-roll bar drop links and the cooling fan as I know someone who may want that
I expect I will get the drop links after he has finished with it unless he agrees to remove the roll bar before racing.

Not sure now good the front suspension will be after racing though!

It also has a good top tint (Blue) windscreen which looks newish.

Looks more like an Alpine than a Rapier

Bit of filler over those carrier bags and the Ital will be fine :-D Not tempted by the third brake light? Would look more like a period accessory than your LED one  8-)

Josh, I expect your are right about the Sunbeam, not sure what the differences are.
Not tempted by the brake light as I never liked those types. My one being LED, they come on faster so a few uSec more time to brake I hope!

Barry,
I may be able save the rubbing strips, how do they fix? do they just pop off? Or are they bolted as if they are bolted it will take some time to get off.

Adz, Don't think the windows are tinted. The windscreen is an after fit with top tint. I will check again when I pick up so parts from it.

It's an Alpine. Lower spec than the Rapier-single carb etc. Tell by the white rear pillar-Esther's being a Rapier is black vinyl.

I have sent a PM to try and help.

I just can't store seats no room at the inn - need larger house.
The carpet did not look original as it looked chucky pile but maybe Itals had that?
