Ok Stu, you have been through enough tonight so we won’t rattle you anymore as you might vibrate more than usual and set of the seismograph and start a mini earthquake which may be felt across the country!

I don't think that going on to their site would solve anything other than make us Marina boys look silly. All we need to care about is the “Marinaâ€￾ and defend it where possible if at all possible. Minor owners will always get their hands on our cars but if we can stop it from happening then our job is done.

Not all minor owners are prats but it’s only the small minority that wish to make their cars perform better with a Marina engine. An upgrade to the 1098 unit should be good enough for them and for the amount of time the cars are actually on the road during the year does a Marina upgrade have to be necessary? I don't think so.

 I agree Sean...going on their site and stirring things up will only make things worse, bearing in mind they probably outnumber us about 10 to 1, and can still do the Marina a lot of harm, we should carry on doing our bit...that is all we can do

Yep, who cares about the Minors anyway? As long as the diehard Marina enthusiasts are still around then we can continue on focusing on the matter at hand which is saving and preserving the Marina.

By all means if they come on here we have many ways of sorting them out, usually by Ray, Paul and I ripping them apart then the topic getting pulled by site admin lol

Uncle Frank has a great alternative for the Minor owners who wish to upgrade. Maybe he could fill in the rest!

Happy to oblige...why not fit Ford engines, then the Ford gearboxes they love to use would match up nicely, also you have the added bonus of removing a few Fords from the road instead
