Like a caged beast waiting to attack! Should be restored, not many Itals left and that one don't look too bad either.

He has a point. They are a rare breed. Not many people want to take them on though like the Marinas.

It doesn't look too bad, top corners of wings and such like look good, but it's a different story when you open the boot - let's just say if you accidentally got trapped in there, you wouldn't have too much trouble escaping through one of the holes in the corners! Also has been left lying with window open, so although I didn't lift any carpet to check, I wouldn't hold out much hope for the floor or sills etc. Didn't really get as good a look round the car as I wanted because I was distracted by a guy who ended up offering to give me a Rover V8 in exchange for one of my old bikes - so an interesting distraction and who knows where it might lead! But I'll have to go back again for another look at the Ital. Should be some good parts on it, (including spoiler I'd say) or might end up making an offer for the whole thing if it was cheap enough.

Star of the show at Kilbroney this weekend -
Didn't get to speak to the owner though. Very few original NI reg. cars left now.

That Maxi is ace, I'm liking that a lot.
Black tulip saloon is rather tasty too of course.

I'm the new owner of the purple Marina marinabuoy posted on the previous page! She's currently living in Belfast. Any others in Belfast anyone knows of?

The black tulip saloon above is somewhere round Finaghy area I think, only one I know of in Belfast. Also only original NI car still on the road that I know of. I'm out west on Donegal border but usually in Belfast 2-3 days a week. Your new coupe's looking good there, funky enough!

Another update -
'79 1.7 for sale in Belfast, blue car / green car?
His phone ain't been ringing so he's knocked another £1250 off the price - down to £3250 from original £5K. Nice looking local reg. car nevertheless.
And this Ital came up for sale in Wicklow a few days ago, '81 1.3.
ZV 26526, asking 2500eu = £2250.
