They are hinden so you can't see them and can be removed with no damage to the car so well pleased. Did take all day though

I will take some pics tomorrow and post up for you Ben. The speakers are Kenwoods 100mm round 3 way 120W units so quite small and punchy compared to the rear larger speakers.
Mounted them in 6mm MDF which was cut to fit under the dash and managed to create some fixing points which was a problem under there and it is getting a bit busy now with an extra cigar power point and my battery conditioner point for when the car is in the garage

The rear speaker wires were put in when the car shell was in the IOW so it goes in the roof and follows the rest of the wiring:thumbup:
The rear speakers are over designed to fit again with no holes in the rear metal shelf and are again hidden. they are Kenwood 150W. I think they were 5 by 7 or something strange to fit the hole shape in the car but they are a little to big so I spaced them off in to the boot with MDF. I spent ages getting them right. They have thick steel mesh over the hole in the shelf so you could stand on the parcel shelf and not damage the speakers, but who is going to do that?

more than anticipated but half a day more and the car is finished weldwise.

Lots going on there Sean, it is next weekend isn't it? I need to go through nss properly before then as well, only an engine service though I did the rest to get it back on the road. I can't take the van this year as the family are coming. See you down there.

Went over to Martin's yesterday to do some work on the coupe. He had very kindly removed the slave cylinder and push rod (it came out without cutting in the end but it did get bent!), I put the new slave in and tried bleeding the system....hmmm no fluid going into the clutch pipe. I took the master cylinder off and the piston was seized solid in there so I raided his spares stock and found a used cylinder that wasn't seized and fitted that. Tried bleeding again... clutch pipe leaking! Changed the clutch pipe, bled the system and hey presto it has a clutch and now moves

Had the '72 TC running after 6 years laid up. Sounds sweet! Will MOT it in a couple of weeks and then plan an engine rebuild for after the summer.

Yeah Chris its the 3rd August with the show on the 4th. I'm well behind schedule with Reynard. Haven't done anything to him today other than a another litre of paint as I ran out of what little I had left yesterday. Will make another start this afternoon once this migraine has eased off Look forward to seeing you and all the lads again

Fitted a new speedo cable ( it gave up on Dartmoor during the road run ) a new reverse light switch ( only works when holding gear stick in a certain place )

You know you can adjust the reversing lamp switch?
Also the bit it rubs on wears over time.
Just a thought

Fitted a suitably polished chain-saw piston as a gear-knob!!

It's a new switch. Couldn't be bothered to get back underneath to be honest yesterday. Guessing if I took the washer out it would work?
