Trev I still need some custom pipe work for the radiator. I need a pipe that curves around the N/S inner wing from the suspension turret straight to the front. I will do you a sketch with dimensions and PM you. I've got to make an air box adapter at the moment and need some 90 degree bends around the 45mm diameter.. Can you help with that?

Ben

15" x 8" Minilites, you are brave, better get yourself kitted out with a nice "classic" '70's Bullworker! , you're certainly going to need arms like Popeye to steer that!.

Oh & a turning circle of 4500 feet!! , Niiiiice !!, not to mention weekly wheelbearing changes!!

All this topped off with 12 covernotes a year insurance from Adrian S Flux ( A Snip at 4 Grand! )

Best of luck

Brian.

P.S. D.V.D. is on it's way!!

Cut out your weekly bearing changes with my Brake and hub kit Brian! Oh and a custom quick rack!

Adrian Flux do love me tho. They were so nice to give me a policy.. All for less than it costs to buy the 15x8 Minilights!

Wheel bearings

Post by marinabrian » Fri Jan 11, 2008 5:36 pm

I meant the back wheels, by the way, what are you doing with your back axle, as lobbing all this new found zetec power into a standard Marina/Triumph unit as I recall from memory, results in BANG, CHUNG, CHUNG, CHUNG, and upon checking under the car at the back, a bullet hole in the diff housing, where the crownwheel had attempted "The Great Escape"

The Triumph 'box isn't the only weak part in the marina's drivechain!

I await with bated breath :D

Brian. :P

Three options mate..

Escourt axle with Tran-X LSD - Rated to about 250bhp

Cut down Capri 2.8 axle with LSD rated at 300bhp

Dolomite Sprint axle with Quaife LSD rated to 200bhp

It's a toss up at the moment but what ever goes in there will be one spare for the next project 8)

Axle

Post by marinabrian » Fri Jan 11, 2008 5:47 pm

I hope you have got an idea in mind to prevent axle tramp, it spoils the fast getaway, when the whole thing winds itself up, & rips the front spring hangers off!!, 4 wheel steering on a marina isn't as much fun as you think!!.

Been there got the T shirt, the hat, & wrote the book!!

Cheers

Brian
