I'm sure you'll have this one Gary but I found a pic of an orange Mumford at Trentham Gardens MFR434P.

As Raymond will confirm I am an utter biff with these machines of Beelzebub (computers). However I'll be seeing "The Flying Scotsman" at the weekend so I'll pass the happy snappies onto him as He's much more in tune with The Dark Side.Hopefully with some Devils' magic the images shall be circulated in due course.
While I'm on,the other North East Mumford is a MK1 1800 SDL in Aconite. It's on an N plate but I haven't got the reg anywhere.Richard Young has and says he'll dig it out.The car's a shed and lives outside.I went to view it recently but the bloke wants far too much for it.I made what I thought was a reasonable offer but he said he'd get more than his asking price on E-Bay.I told him to put it on E-Bay,it's rusting away and soon will be well past saving. What is it with these people ???

People like that always make me wounder.. To be honest it would be ideal for me as I have a good sound '74 Coupe it could be grafted into.. All I need is a rough convertable.. Any idea what his ideal price would be Matt?

Yes indeed Ben
I offered him £600 but he said he wouldn't let it go for less than a grand !! If you're using a donor the state of this one's body wont be the issue and probably not the missing bits of interior. There's no Mumford boot badge and both the "one off" rear windows are badly cracked. He's put slicone on them to stop them coming apart.I would guess these could be difficult/expensive to replace.Having said all that it is a genuine Mumford which is why I made the offer to try and prevent it being lost to the dreaded tin worm for ever. The hood has been replaced fairly recently so that's a bonus. If you want the bloke's number I can dig it out.Just let me know if there's anything else you need to know

Sorry Chris I missed your question.Yes Aconite is bright purple,a bit lighter than Black Tulip. It is a genuine Marina colour option, usually coming with dark brown trim.

Very tempting ! ! It would of course have to be a car on the project pile but it all comes down to price. A grand for a rough shell is a bit but then again I doubt there are many about.. ? I have the details of a Mk2 somewhere down south but it was advertised a few years ago so may not be around anymore. If you could dig out the number I'd be very grateful.
