Here's one that wont be ready for the summer, very late TC saloon in Cosmic Blue Metallic which I discovered in a garage in Norwich about a month ago, picked up today with Martin Wallis.

The garage owner bought it in the late 70s I think and sold it a few times but it always came back to him. He said it was one of the best cars he ever owned. It became a garage runaround in the late 80s and was laid up in the early 90s. He was planning to restore it but has too many other projects! (I know the feeling)

One of the owners added a few bits to it but I suspect it came off the line with MK2 rear lights, a lot of P reg cars did. Not sure about the bumpers, think they are a later addition.

I think Martin has already found a good home for it

Looks great and what a find.
Get rid of the bumpers and daft fog lamps and it will be much better

Nice to see a good colour in a TC Saloon.

Has that TC had cover sills riveted on in the door shut?
I have some better sill trims if you need them?

It has had new sills at some point, not sure if they are cover sills or not. Somebody has fitted some sort of trim over the whole outer sill with a mirror finish, obviously the standard TC sill trim wasn't bling enough

Thanks for the offer but it's not my car and Martin will be moving it on shortly to a new home hopefully
